Dr. Kevin Hong  |  BSc, DMD, MD, FRCD(C)

Dr. Kevin Hong graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor Degree in Life Sciences and studied abroad at the University of St. Andrew’s for one year in Scotland. He then obtained his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from McGill University. From there, he completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery training and obtained his Doctorate of Medicine from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Hong is currently a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.

As part of his residency, Dr. Hong had extensive training in complex extractions, implant placement and bone grafting, trauma, corrective jaw surgery, general anesthesia, and IV sedation. He was fortunate to travel to Santa Cruz, Bolivia with Healing the Children NE to help treat children born with cleft lip and/or cleft palate.

Dr. Hong will actively cover facial trauma calls at Hamilton Health Sciences and will be participating with the Hamilton Health Sciences/McMaster University Cleft Lip and Palate team.
