Dr. Paul Bhatti has had extensive education and training in becoming an oral and maxillofacial surgeon and is the founder of Parkview Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. His education began by obtaining a Bachelors degree in Human Physiology from the University of Toronto. From there, he continued his education and received a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Northwestern University. This was followed by obtaining a medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and a completion of an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency in 2002 from Sinai Hospital/St. Joseph-Mercy Hospital of Michigan. As part of his residency, Dr. Bhatti has had extensive general anaesthesia and IV sedation training. Dr. Bhatti is both a fellow of Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a Diplomate of the American Board for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Bhatti has also held teaching positions at the University of Detroit-Mercy as well as the University of Michigan. Currently Dr. Bhatti is affiliated with McMaster University and performs his more complex surgeries at McMaster University Medical Center as well as Hamilton General Hospital. He also performs surgical procedures at St. Joseph’s Health Centre – Hamilton. Dr. Bhatti actively takes trauma calls at Hamilton Health Sciences which services facial trauma calls for the Hamilton and surrounding areas. Dr. Bhatti has also previously taught at the University of Toronto in the Department of Oral Surgery and routinely lectures in various topics in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. 

Dr. Bhatti is also an active surgeon with Hamilton Health Sciences/McMaster University Cleft-Lip and Palate Team.
