Dr. Edward Dore  |  BSc, DDS, MRCD(C)

Dr. Ed Dore is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Following this, he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Western Ontario and completed his Oral and Maxillofacial training at the University of Toronto. Dr. Dore is a member of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, as well as a Fellow of the International College of Dentists.

Dr. Dore has practiced the majority of his career in the Greater Hamilton Area. Dr. Dore is an Assistant Clinical Professor, Faculty of Health Sciences and McMaster University, as well as Chief of Dentistry at Hamilton Health Sciences and St. Joseph’s Healthcare in Hamilton.

Dr. Dore is past president of both the Canadian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Ontario Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. His clinical focus is on anaesthesia, facial trauma and orthognathic surgery.

Dr. Dore and his wife Sharon have two children and two grand daughters. During his free time, Dr. Dore enjoys travelling, genealogy, photography and spending quality time with his family.
